FAQs

The Wedding Website of Laurel Glaze and Patrick Abbey
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please digitally RSVP by August 1st, 2023. If you have questions or concerns about the digital RSVP process, feel free to text Laurel or Patrick's mother, Laura. If you are unable to RSVP by that date, we may be unable to accomodate your presence at the wedding, as we will have to send final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your invitation envelope. If you are confused, when you RSVP online, you will see if you have a plus one! If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to text Laurel or Patrick's mother, Laura.

Question

Will Laurel take Patrick's last name? Will Patrick take Laurel's?

Answer

Laurel and Patrick have chosen to both keep their own last names. Laurel will remain Laurel Glaze, and Patrick will remain Patrick Abbey.

Question

Is seating random?

Answer

Nope! For the ceremony, you may sit wherever you please. However, we will be carefully arranging tables so that our guests are paired with those they know. We know weddings are a mixing pot of guests who may not know each other, and we want to be able to ease any anxieties for guests who may be a little more introverted. Hopefully, this can put some of you at ease.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones - we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail to black tie optional. This means that tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are cocktail dresses and suits. No jeans, please! Please feel free to bring sunglasses for the ceremony. The bridesmaids will be wearing green gowns, so please avoid wearing green if you do not wish to be mistaken for a bridesmaid! Please do not wear any creams, whites, or ivory.

Question

What time should I be at the venue?

Answer

Please be at the venue no later than 4:40 pm. Late parties will not be permitted entrance until the ceremony has ended and cocktail hour begins.

Question

How's parking?

Answer

The venue has a parking lot that will be able to accomodate all guests. Walking from the parking lot to the venue is minimal. If you are concerned about walking, there is a drop off point at the front of the venue's main entrance.

Question

Can we take photos on a phone or camera during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a photographer to capture our day and will be requesting a mostly unplugged ceremony. We will be allowing a moment of pictures at the end of the ceremony for everyone, so please keep that in mind.
