Things To Do

We're so grateful for all of our friends and family that are traveling from across the country! Here are some of our favorite hikes, breweries, and other activities within ~2 hours of Anchorage! Additionally, multiple people have requested a 7-10 day itinerary. Here is a link to my recommendations! You can change it however you need to meet your travel plans. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JT-y6JegebvEWsv2G44LVCi23DjEX9hAezTWsDxfQhk/edit?usp=sharing

Local Hikes

Here are some local hikes that we enjoy: -Turnagain Arm Trail (where we got engaged 🥰) -Little O'Malley -Flattop Sunnyside Trail (parking is tricky) -Rabbit Lake (parking is tricky) -Bird Ridge (steep) -Crow Pass (from Girdwood or Eagle River) -Winner Creek (in Girdwood) -Alyeska North Face (steep - in Girdwood) -the Butte (on the way to Palmer) -Eklutna Lake

Anchorage has it's fair share of local brews. Here are some of our favorites: -Anchorage Brewing Company (has amazing food Thursday - Saturday "Familia") -Midnight Sun (also has good food) -King Street (has pizza Wed-Sun) -Moose's Tooth (has a bar or beer garden + amazing pizza restaurant; always busy) -Glacier Brewhouse (good beer & good food) -49th State (touristy - but great selection of food & beer) -Double Shovel Cider Company -Girdwood Brewing Company (always has a food truck)
