Florida (specifically Duval County), as of May 18, is officially in Phase 2. Our venue is permitted to have 50% capacity (150 guests) with parties (tables) less than 10 with 6 ft of separation. Great news! This capacity is more than the total number we invited, and we always planned on having parties of 8. Our ceremony & cocktail hour will still be outside while the reception will be in the ballroom. For our ceremony, there will be two standing room areas to either side of the chairs that will allow you to still see & hear our ceremony while giving additional distance. *If you will be wearing a mask, we kindly ask that you sit to the outside of your row rather than towards the aisle* For our reception, we will be assigning everyone to a specific table in the ballroom; however, we are setting up two 8 party tables should you prefer to eat outside. The two outside tables will be free seating. Our standing cocktail tables will also be available if the outdoor seated option is popular.
Hand sanitizer spray will be at each of the dining tables and throughout the cocktail area available for all guests to use. The bathroom doors will be propped open to limit touch points. All catering staff will be wearing PPE to serve food and beverages to our guests. The digital RSVP has been set up for both the ceremony and reception separately. This is because we understand that some may only be staying for the ceremony and not the reception. This is a great help to us and our vendors, and we will in turn be able to provide the appropriate number of seats per event. Finally, while we are super excited that we were not required to postpone into 2021, this season is different from what we originally envisioned for our big day. As a favor, please pray for (1) cool weather, (2) a nice breeze, (3) no rain, and (4) low humidity. While it’s unlikely that all (any) of these will happen – we can still dream big! We look forward to celebrating with you soon!
We absolutely love your kids, but our wedding will be your romantic night off. We hope you will understand our decision to make the event children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style! If you'll be traveling with children and need assistance in finding a local sitter, please contact our wedding planner, Katy, at events@coastalcoordinating.com
Cocktail attire, please. Tuxes aren't required for men, and no floor-length gown is required for women (unless you'd like to wear a long dress). What's most important? We want you to feel comfortable! So if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. The parking lot is loose gravel, but the ceremony site and cocktail hour will be on a brick paved area.
Friday night, please meet us out for casual drinks at Blackstone Grille. Additional information can be found on the schedule page. No need to RSVP. It's a come-as-you-are event.
We will be having an unplugged ceremony at our wedding. While we fully encourage everyone to bring their phones and cameras to document the day (plus your awesome outfit and fabulous dance moves), we politely request that all devices be turned off during the ceremony. Once we receive the professional images from our AMAZING photographers after the wedding, we will be happy to send them to you!
Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you send us your RSVP.
We are so happy that you are coming to our wedding! Your presence is a gift in and of itself. We appreciate that you're considering purchasing something for us as well. We are registered through Zola, the wedding company that helped us create this website! Through their registry program, we're able to combine experiences and physical items all in one place for you.
