Getting around town

Both Savannah and Charleston are about 1 hour drive from Beaufort, SC. Savannah is ever so slightly closer. If you are flying in, public transit is not really an option down here so we recommend booking a car rental.

Where to stay

At this time we have not yet reserved a hotel block. We would encourage people to look for home rentals through Airbnb/VRBO, Fripp Island Stays (for a mini beach vacation!), or Tidewatch rentals. There are no hotels on Dataw Island, as it is a gated residential community. There may be some homes available to rent on the island via Airbnb/VRBO There are numerous hotel options (boutique and franchise) in town. Some boutique options: The Beaufort Inn The Emerald The Rhett House Inn The Cuthbert House City Loft Hotel Franchises: Hilton Garden Inn (1500 Queen Street) Tru by Hilton(3664 Track Pkwy) Home2 Suites(3658 Trask Pkwy) The boutique hotels are all located downtown making them approximately 20 minutes to the venue, with the furthest franchise hotel being 25-30 minutes.
