I look at you and I'm home

They'd known each other for a long time; they grew up going to school together. Everyone had a little crush on him but he was too busy with friends and sports. She changed boyfriends faster than she could change socks because no one ever fit her heart quite right. They kept in touch, here and there on Facebook as years passed by, and then by chance they had seen each other at a local bar, even though both of them now lived away. Somehow, they just happened to end up there on the same night. They, stars in their eyes and drinks in their hands, caught up about where they had been and who they'd become. They danced and they laughed and she thought to herself, "Is it possible that he is trying to hit on me right now?". She shook the idea from her head because he was only visiting from the Navy and obviously he wasn't. She was wrong and he absolutely was. Years later while catching up on Facebook, there was something different about them. This time there was a spark, but he lived in Hawaii and she still lived in Maine. One day he said "Why don't you come see me?" and she thought, "Why don't I?". So they started making plans for her to visit 1.5 months from then. They texted, despite the 6hr time difference, every single day and they slowly realized that they weren't a coincidence or just two people putting their best foot forward but they both had found their person and it felt like amazing magic. A notification from an airline price watcher chimed on her phone late one night with a flight deal over a weekend about three weeks before the trip they had planned. She made a split second decision and started to drive to the airport. When she arrive at the air port she couldn't get out of the car. Was this right choice? What if they didn't have any chemistry? She told him she was nervous. His response was short and sweet, "Take a deep breath, get out of the car and COME SEE ME!<3". That was all she needed and soon she realized he was too.
