Brad and Laurel met on July 31st 2015 at a blue moon party at Von Cramm Cooperative at Cornell University just two weeks before Laurel had to go back to school at Oberlin College. Despite hitting it off right away, neither of us was prepared to enter a long distance relationship, but we saw each other over school breaks and summers. In the spring of 2019, Brad flew out to visit Laurel in Epernay France, where she was living at the time and realized that he was in love with her. He also decided not to tell her this until her birthday later that year when he visited her in Pittsburgh where she had begun studying for her doctorate in physical therapy. The couple officially started dating on October 5th, 2019, with the first two years of their relationship being long distance, with Laurel in Pittsburgh and Brad outside of Philadelphia. During the pandemic, Laurel moved out to live on his mom's horse farm with him for 3 months, giving them a taste for what it would be like living together. During this time they got creative in the kitchen, built a table, and followed Bob Ross painting tutorials together. Laurel graduated with her DPT in December of 2021 and the couple immediately packed all their belongings and embarked on a 3 week adventure to move to Corvallis Oregon. They lived there for a year and a half with their two cats, Harvest Moon and Blue Moon (Harvey and Blue for short). On September 4th, during a trip back to visit Ithaca, Brad proposed and Laurel said yes! Now, they are currently adventuring again, currently in Honolulu HI!
