We're getting married!!

It all began with a simple online introduction in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Two people brought together by a mutual friend in Christ. How could we have known that this small, ordinary moment would span the globe from Guelph to Texas, quietly changing the course of our lives? First, it was an easy conversation and shared laughter, talking about everything from time spent in the lab to joking about reading minds for a living. What started as a simple phone call quickly turned into hours of uncovering surprising similarities from our childhood, a conversation that lasted nearly four (4) hours without either of us wanting it to end. It was the kind of connection that felt natural from the very beginning. What neither of us expected was how quickly that initial spark would grow into something deeper, steady, meaningful, and impossible to ignore. As days turned into months, our connection unfolded in the in-between moments: long conversations that stretched late into the night, spontaneous plans that became cherished memories, and a growing sense of comfort in simply being together. We discovered not only a shared joy in life’s adventures but also a quiet strength in facing long-distance challenges side by side. In each other, we have found both a partner and best friend, a love rooted in understanding, patience, and unwavering support. Through every season, our bond has continued to deepen, shaped by laughter, resilience, and the countless little moments that make a life together. What began as a chance meeting became a journey of choosing one another, every day. Now, surrounded by the love of family and friends, and with a grateful nod to the friend who first brought us together, we are filled with joy and anticipation as we begin this next chapter.
