FAQs

Question

Are you moving forward with the wedding amid the COVID-19 crisis?

Answer

Although the COVID-19 crisis has created much uncertainty, as of now, we will be proceeding with our wedding, now a micro wedding, on March 6, 2021. We are working closely with our venue, which is following all CDC guidelines and recommendations, to ensure the event is as safe as possible for guests and staff. We will keep you informed if anything changes, however, please continue to check out our website for updates. To our guests who are coming from out of town, we understand it may be difficult or even impossible to travel for you. If you received an invitation and you cannot make it, we completely understand and please do not feel obligated or bad about it. Please do let us know if you plan or coming or not, as soon as possible, so we can plan accordingly. Please also feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions or concerns. Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We are sorry, but we are unable to accommodate children outside the bridal party.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

The venue is right next to The Mutiny Hotel where we have blocked rooms. Also, all hotels in the Coconut Grove area are within walking distance or very close.

Question

Will there be parking available?

Answer

If you are driving, parking will be available 100 ft North from the venue, right next to Peacock Cafe. It's a public parking garage. Get your ticket and you can retrieve your parking validation from the bar upon your departure.

Question

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

We had rooms blocked at The Mutiny Hotel, but since the wedding is now very small we decided to release the block. Should you choose to stay there however, they will still let you book for the same rate if you mention our wedding. Mention the Ramirez-Feldman wedding when booking or follow this link: https://be.synxis.com/?Hotel=28178&Chain=10494&Dest=MIA&config=GCF&theme=GCF&locale=en-US&arrive=3/5/2021&depart=3/7/2021&adult=1&child=0&group=28G0D0

Question

How many people will be attending?

Answer

Our venue can accommodate up to 150 guests, however our event will be a micro-wedding so we are expecting not more than 50 people.

Question

What are some of the health and safety measures that will be taken?

Answer

- We have reduced the number of guests significantly -Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided -Staff will be wearing masks at all times -Seating arrangements will be designed to keep the 6-feet social distance recommendation in place - There will be 6 people per table, and families or groups who travel together will be sitting together - It will be a plated dinner, not buffet style - A bathroom attendant will be present to clean the bathroom after each person has used it

Question

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As of now, our ceremony will be outdoors and the cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors. The venue doesn't have the ideal space or conditions to hold a reception outdoors but we are still trying to figure out if there’s a way to make that work. The indoor space, however, has good ventilation, with large windows and doors throughout the space that will be open during the reception. We will update you if anything changes... Here's a 360 degree virtual tour of the space: https://www.weddingwire.com/biz/womans-club-of-coconut-grove-miami/f1bf0a7fb862cc4a.html

Question

Should I get tested for COVID-19 before attending the wedding?

Answer

We and our venue highly encourage you to get tested before coming if that's possible for you.

Question

What if I already RSVP'd and don't feel well the day of the wedding?

Answer

If you don't feel well, please stay home. We will miss you but we want to make sure you and others are safe.

Question

Where do I RSVP?

Answer

Please let us know if you are coming or not. Kindly reply Yes or No by February 5. We need to give our venue a final head count and payment for the number of guests in attendance. You can easily respond via the RSVP tab, just enter your name and you'll be able to respond for all the events that evening-- ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. If you have any issues, please let me know. Laura (786) 200-4955
