Yes! Wedding guests are encouraged to park in the Chapel lot, which we have reserved. Signage will be posted to help direct you. If additional parking is needed, guests may use the Red Brick lot just outside The Admiral’s House. Cars may be left overnight and picked up the next morning. We also suggest using a ride share like Uber, especially if you plan to enjoy the open bar!
Yes! The Eternal Father Of The Sea Chapel and the Admiral’s House are both located within The Venues at Riverfront Park, on the grounds of the former Charleston Naval Base. It’s a short, scenic walk from The Chapel to The Admiral’s House. If anyone prefers not to walk, you’re welcome to park in the Chapel lot for the ceremony and then drive over to the parking lot closer to The Admiral’s House.
Black-Tie Optional. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie. Ladies can wear a long gown, a cocktail dress, or dressy separates. Our reception will be held outdoors, so we recommend keeping that in mind when choosing your shoes. A block heel or wedges may be more comfortable on grass and uneven surfaces.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will be followed by cocktail hour and reception at The Admiral's House.
Please refrain from taking any pictures or videos during the ceremony. We are having an unplugged ceremony and an amazing photographer to capture our day. However, please take all of the photos and videos you want during cocktail hour and the reception! We can’t wait to look back on all the fun memories.
Please visit the Travel tab for our hotel recommendations and room block information. We’ve secured room blocks at a couple of downtown Charleston hotels for your convenience. Guests are also welcome to book hotels outside of our room blocks — including options in North Charleston. Hotels near the Charleston Airport are approximately a 15–20 minute drive from the venue and can be a convenient alternative depending on your preferences. If you're planning to book a vacation rental, we recommend looking in the Park Circle neighborhood, which is closest to the venue and has some great Airbnb and VRBO options.
