Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes! I have tried to make sure that everyone’s Little’s are included on your invitation and when you rsvp. If I have somehow missed the child’s name please include this in the comments when you rsvp or text me personally.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have made sure that everyone we invited that needed a plus one had one, as long as we know the person as well. Due to the limited seating and space at the venue we ask you to please not bring more than those who are listed on your invitation.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our guests dress up with us! We politely ask that our guests dress in Cocktail attire. This can be nice button up shirt with slacks for men and nice dresses for women (as an example). Please come in what you are most comfortable in! May in Suncadia is typically 70-80 degrees and sunny but can get a bit chilly as it gets darker, please bring a light coat for later in the evening. Specifically requesting no neon colors, no blue jeans and no colored dresses that are reserved typically for the bride (ivory, cream, white) thank you!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on Social media?

Answer

We politely ask that no one uses phones, cameras or other devices during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and would like to not have phones and cameras in the way or in the background of pictures. During the reception we encourage everyone to take as many pictures as wanted, and upload with the hashtag #FallWedding2023 so we can see them too! There will also be disposable cameras at the reception that we encourage everyone to use so we can get them developed!

Question

Will there be an open Bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have plenty of different alcohol to chose from, including beer, cider, wine and mixers to make your own drinks. Juice and soda as well as water will be available for the Little’s!

Question

What happens if I don’t have a DD?

Answer

There are plenty of Ubers and Lyft drivers in the area and any one of my bridal party would be happy to help you call one.

Question

Where will I Stay?

Answer

Please look into hotels and air bnbs in the area for places to stay. We have a limited amount of space at the venue that is reserved for the bridal party and some immediate family who will be helping set up the wedding. If you need help finding a place please reach out!

Question

When will the ceremony start?

Answer

On the invitations it is stated that the ceremony will start at 3. However, we plan on starting at 3:15 just in case traffic delays some family or friends. Please plan to show up early and scope out the good seats!

Question

Can I bring my dogs?

Answer

Politely we ask you to not bring your dogs. As much as we love your furry friends we ask that they be left at home as not to disrupt the venue beauty and the wedding in general. Thank you!

Question

Dress code part 2: colors?

Answer

We would prefer no neon colors if possible. Cocktail attire in neutral colors is perfect. No ivory or white dresses please and thank you. The bridesmaids will be wearing sage green dresses so please try to avoid wearing the same. Any questions please reach out! Thank you!

Question

When do I need to be at the Venue?

Answer

Please be at the venue no later than 3:10. Ceremony will begin at 3:15, if you show up later than 3:10 you will be asked to wait off to the side until the end of the ceremony to avoid causing any issues with the bridal party walking down the aisle.

Question

How’s parking?

Answer

Parking is extremely limited so please plan accordingly! We encourage guests to carpool! We ask guests to park at the Dawson park down the street and walk to the house. There will be someone who can assist with parking as well.
