FAQs

Question

What are the parking arrangements?

Answer

The parking garage at 200 East 10th Street is free for our guests for the duration of the wedding: take a ticket when you enter the garage, park on the 5th floor or higher, and bring the ticket with you when you leave your car. If you use the elevators, exit on the 2nd floor. After the wedding, the ticket will be validated at the machine by the elevators and you will scan it to be let out of the gate. On-site parking at the Charles Johnson house is first-come-first-served. There is a small lot for handicapped parking by the house, and public parking underneath the bridge.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear your Sunday best. This is a conservative, semi-formal style. Thank you for dressing in a manner that respects the house of God.

Question

Are my children invited?

Answer

The bride and groom welcome our smallest guests and understand that they will also be our noisiest. However, if they become disruptive to the Mass, please remove them to the narthex, side courtyard, or Bishop's hall. Light refreshments will be set out in the Bishop's hall. The reception will be all-ages as well.
