Nate Silverstein

Best Man

Casey and Nate met way back when during their Freshmen year of high school at The Calhoun School. Although I don’t have a brother by blood, Casey is indeed mine, and in fact another member of the Silverstien family. From endless laughs, playing every sport imaginable together, traveling across the world, and even exploring every possible food adventure known to exist, we have created a bond unlike any other one I have. Well except for my wife, sorry Katie. So here’s to the PG to my Center, my best friend and my brother. I am so honored to stand up there with you up there on your big day.

Tracey Eden

Best Woman

Casey is my long-lost but found brother and best friend. We met at French Woods sleep away camp 18 years ago and we became friends instantly. I practically lived with the Shane’s all through high school and college. We have always been very close sharing many road trips, broadway shows, and birthday spicy tequila shots together. There is no important event in our lives we would ever miss, regardless of the travel. And through LI bar/bat mitzvah scene, the Acey’s have been a pretty popular duo to pump up the energy on the dance floor. Book us for your next event, we specialize in the Cha Cha Slide and The Wobble.

Kristin Tarczynski

Woman of Honor

Kristin and Laura met in May of 2008 during orientation weekend at The Hartt School. They quickly became best friends and, when they met Lea that fall after school officially started, the three became inseparable! They've lived together, traveled the world together, performed together, commemorated their friendship with triangle tattoos together, and have grown up alongside one another throughout the last 14 years. Kristin is moved and beyond proud to be one of Laura's Women of Honor and cannot wait to stand by her side in October!

Lea Nardi

Woman of Honor

Lea and Laura met in 2008 and have been friends for 14 years! They met as freshman i college at The Hartt School studying Musical Theatre. Over the past decade their friendship has turned into a sisterhood. They have lived together, been on countless traveling adventures and performed along side one another in and out of NYC. They share a love of baking, trash TV, sushi and of course, a good happy hour. Lea is so honored to be Laura’s co Woman of Honor and can’t wait to celebrate this incredible day alongside her!

Tatum Eddy

Bridesmaid/cousin

Laura and Tatum have been Best Friend Cousins since birth. For as long as they can remember, they have talked about their wedding days and standing by each other. Although they are cousins, they have lived their lives as sisters and best friends. Through all the celebrations and the hard family times, they have been there for each other. There is a special bond between them, something most cousins won’t know. Laura has been Tatum’s role model and her sidekick, all in the same day. She has truly inspired Tatum to grow into a person who speaks up for herself, but also shows patience and love to all. Tatum can’t wait to stand next to the beautiful bride and officially live out those dreams that were made so long ago!

Jonathan Jimenez

Groomsman

The first time I ever met Casey was on the basketball court in middle school when Calhoun was wiping the floor with Bank street. Little did I know it was at that moment he was like, damn I need to transfer to Calhoun. In actuality it was freshman year of high school 2002 when we really became connected. We lived together at good ol’ 589 (RIP) for I think 4-5 years? The 3rd bedroom rotated but Casey and I stayed constant. We had some insane nights at that apartment. Black light NYE party? Epic! Casey is #1 on the leaderboard for most hours played in FIFA vs me but somehow I can probably count on one finger the amount of times he’s won. 20 years later and we’re still as close as ever, except 4 months out of the year when we hate each other (fantasy season). Love you ma son.

Sophia Helm

Bridesmaid/Sister-in-law

Laura and I met in the summer of 2012 when I first started dating her brother Paul. It was at Mac-Haydn theatre when she was starring as Lola in Copacabana and I was floored by her beauty and talent. From that time on, I spent that year at the Helm’s home where Laura would be residing on and off between shows and I got to know her while sitting around the Helm’s dinner table where I was always bombarded by the warmth and love of her whole family. She always greeted me with a hand-crafted cocktail and we got to know each other over food, drinks and most often an after-dinner game of spades or gin. Some of my favorite memories with her are baking my bridal shower cake together, her doing my makeup the night I got engaged and having sister spa days. I feel blessed to be able to call her my sister and I am so proud of her for everything she has accomplished. I am unbelievably excited to see Casey and Laura marry. They are like two peas in a pod and the love and friendship between them has been a beautiful thing to witness.

Peter Zurkuhlen

Groomsman

I first met Casey after he arrived at Calhoun. We quickly became friends bonding over soccer, basketball, and of course FIFA. TIt was through the years of high school and college, where we would find ourselves crying of laughter, either hanging on my terrance, or in Casey’s childhood room. Before heading to LA, Casey, myself, Jonathan and Nate might as well have been a boy band, a thought I still have to this day. Backstreet Boys watch out! I am so happy to be standing next to you and Laura, and cannot wait for years more of love laughter, and friendship. And possibly a few platinum albums for our new boy band.

Patrick Shaw

Bridesman

Laura and I met for the first time in a suburb of Minnesota as we embarked on our first national tour, Jekyll & Hyde, together. I think it was day two that we fell into fits of hysterical laughter on the floor during a break and just held each other while we cry-laughed. We quickly became friends and, in the subsequent almost 8 years, we've been afforded the wonderful opportunity to live a lot of life together and I feel our friendship has afforded me another wonderful sister.

Justin Drucker

Groomsman

When I met Casey many years ago, I don’t think either of us knew our relationship would grow to what it is today. We have so many memories already and I know the best ones are ahead of us. You are an amazing friend and an even better person. Your kindness and love for others inspires me. Your meticulous planning grounds me. Your memorized sports facts are endless and your cooking prowess is warranted. What I love most about you is that you genuinely want the best for those around you. I am grateful to be around you as much as I am. Congrats on your next chapter! I am so happy to celebrate you and Laura, two of my faves.

Morgan Hammel

Bridesmaid

Morgan and Laura met 14 years ago as freshmen at The Hartt School. They became instant friends and grew up together throughout their next four years of college. They have since had some unforgettable "Girls' Trips" with Lea and Kristin, the women of honor. They celebrated in Las Vegas, enjoyed wine tastings in Paris, and ate all the cheese they could in Amsterdam. Morgan moved to Denver recently and Laura, Lea, and Kristin made a trip out to see her and support her in her move. That's the kind of special friendship they have. Laura is a wonderful, caring, loyal person who would do anything for her friends. Morgan is honored and so excited to be a small part of this special day!

Jesse Einstein

Groomsman

Jesse and Casey met in bunk B2 when they were 12 years old at French Woods summer camp. They bonded during rainstorms-- it was the only time boys were allowed in girls' bunks (and only if the girl's bunk was the closest shelter). So as soon as they heard thunder, they would leave their bunk and race over to the girl's bunk where their crushes lived. Casey introduced Jesse to the magic of an NYC night while on high school break -- which included lots of walking, Gray's Papaya, and Legends of the Hidden Temple. And for over a decade, they spent New Year together -- an annual 48-hour celebration.

Katie Silverstein

Bridesmaid

Laura & Katie first met at Tracey’s wedding, then again at Katie’s wedding, but their friendship really flourished at Camp Helm 2020. They spent many afternoons in luxurious pools, at curated wine tastings, and the occasional driveway workout or Orangetheory class. On Katie’s WFH days, Laura would coax Katie away from her laptop by sending voice memo’s for shopping trips, and they’d return with matching outfits to show off to the boys. Camp Helm is the #1 destination in Massachusetts, three summers in a row! Back in NYC, Laura & Katie share a love for Katie’s (err Laura’s while Katie’s out of town) dog, Bentley - or Mr. Snacks as he’s been lovingly re-named! It’s been an honor getting to know Laura throughout her relationship with Casey, and I’m so excited to stand by her side as she marries the love of her life!

RJ Vaillancourt

Groomsman

The first time I met Casey was the night of my wife Sara's 22nd birthday; we weren't dating yet, but that night at the Renaissance Diner (RIP) the seed was planted for me to fall in love with two people. I distinctly remember enjoying my chat with Casey just as much, if not more-- than my corned beef hash. Ten years later, we've built a friendship centered around our borderline addiction to sports: we co-created a podcast together, slogged through several fantasy leagues, and text nearly every day about what we'd do if we were general managers of the NY Giants (boys can dream). I can't wait to celebrate his love and marriage to the amazing Laura, and look forward to seeing the Knicks win hopefully one more playoff series over the course of the next 50 years of our friendship.
