Rocky Mountain National Park

RMNP is only about an hour from Fort Collins and is a great place for beautiful Colorado views for visitors of all hiking levels! Please be aware that reserved timed entry is required to enter the park between 9am and 2pm.
Horsetooth Mountain Open Space

For outdoor recreation closer to Fort Collins, check out the Horsetooth Reservoir area! There are lots of options here for hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and more!
