2014 — We first met in 2014 at the Florida Keys during a family and friends vacation. In which neither of us expected it would mean anything more than a few days of sunshine and small talk. We parted ways, went back to our lives, and the connection faded into memory. We followed each other on Instagram, but that was it. 2020 — Then, six years later, something unexpected happened. During lockdown due to COVID, Lourdes (my mom) accidentally liked one of Brad's old Instagram photos from our time in the Keys. Embarrassed, I sent Brad a message. What started as a quick “I don't even know if you remember me, my mom accidentally liked your pic from 2014..." turned into hours of catching up. That one small moment rekindled a spark we didn’t realize was there. (Thanks mom!!) 2021 — By 2021, life brought Laura to Miami for her Master's degree — my hometown. Being in the same city made everything click. We saw each other more and more, and soon, we were inseparable. What began as a reconnection turned into something deep, joyful, and real. We officially started dating, and every day since has been filled with the kind of love that feels both easy and extraordinary. 2024 — On September 9th, 2024 in Ushuaia, Argentina we got engaged. To this day, we cannot put into words how the moment felt. We remember it as being euphoric yet peaceful, absolutely beautiful and intimate with some of our closest friends. It was PERFECT! We are so grateful for every step that brought us here. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all as we start our forever! Thank you!
