We know that attending a destination wedding is a big commitment, and will not be hurt if anyone is unable to attend because of this. For those that are able to attend we hope to show our gratitude with a welcome dinner being hosted the night before the wedding. We also hope you may take this opportunity to take a little vacation of your own and simply attend any part of our event that works for your schedule. San Diego is where Laura Beth's paternal Grandparents lived and she has many fond memories standing in their backyard asking "Can I get married here?" (age 5 years old).
We will offer suggestions as to where to stay and activities to fill any downtime but please don't hesitate to reach out if any questions arise or recommendations desired.

Semi-Formal Attire
Our Wedding Ceremony will be celebrated within a Traditional Latin Mass, also known as the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite. This is a deeply reverent and time-honored form of the Catholic Mass, rich in beauty, solemnity and tradition. This type of ceremony dates back to 1570 (for you history buffs out there).

Our wedding reception will be held at the Darlington House in La Jolla, a beautiful historic venue with timeless charm and elegant gardens. The setting blends classic sophistication with a warm, inviting atmosphere. There is no lawn so fear not if high heels are part of your wardrobe.
