One Friday afternoon, Brandon came home with pizza, knowing it's one of Laura Anne's favorite foods. When he found out she wasn't hungry, he patiently waited for her to grab a slice. Eventually, he convinced her to sit down at the kitchen table to eat together. She opened the pizza box and there, written in olives, is "Marry Me"! Shocked, the first thing Laura Anne could think to say was, "I don't even like olives!" She turned around to find Brandon on one knee, holding an engagement ring. He struggled to find his balance as their dog, Layla, jumped on him and licked his face. The both laughed as Brandon was finally able to say "Will you marry me?" Laura Anne cried "yes!" and the rest is history.
