Laura and Zachary met in the most modern way possible. Yes, that’s right, on the apps! Who knew they would meet their forever person on Hinge. Zachary messaged Laura after coming across her profile. After a couple days of texting on the app, Zachary suggested they meet in-person. First, they planned to meet for coffee (this ensured no one gave off murderous vibes) then, depending on how that went, head to Laura’s pool at her apartment and have some of Zachary’s famous margaritas. Their first date didn’t go exactly as planned. Even though Laura provided the cross streets to the cafe for coffee, Zachary did not go to the correct location. Meanwhile, Laura was wondering where her hot date was! Eventually, the pilot figured out the location. They both had honey lavender lattes and a small bite to eat. Laura and Zachary went to the store to gather ingredients for the margaritas and some snacks. They spent the rest of the day talking and laughing at the pool in the 100+ degree heat. That night, they ate sushi on the rooftop and enjoyed the summer night. The night concluded and Zachary had to get home to Remington. From then, Laura and Zachary continued progressing in their relationship. Currently, Laura and Zachary live together with his dog, Remington, and her two cats, Shadow and Casper. Blending Remington’s energy and Shadow’s and Casper’s stubbornness and unfamiliarity with dogs has been no easy task! Now the animals will become forever siblings as Laura and Zachary are getting married! Update 03/20/2024: Laura and Zachary added to their family with Duffy, a Golden Retriever puppy! Duffy has taken the heat off of Remington and shifted Shadow and Casper's attention to himself. It is time for the cats to navigate this new relationship as siblings.
