Yes, most of the time you can. Remember to let your bank know you will be using your card outside of the country.

No, you will need to exchange currency when you get to the airport (Colombian Pesos- COP) $1 dollar is usually around 3,900 COP Dollar rate fluctuates every day.

Yes, they are the same. You can charge your phone with no issues.

Although the water in Colombia is very clean, you should stick to bottle water in any foreign country, just to be safe!

No, you do not. Unless you plan to travel to the Amazon rainforest which it’s very far away from Pereira.

Yes, you can use international roaming system that you can activate from your phone service provider as soon as you land. Also, you can find free WIFI almost everywhere you go.
