~~~Hers: I made the first move in 2016 on Bumble with a "hey you're really cute 😍". Trey made the second by asking me to join him at a local dive bar where I crushed several Pliny the Elder IPAs. Needless to say, Trey fell for me quickly. He attempted to wine & dine & woo me, but I told him the timing wasn't right... Trey was ever persistent, checking every once in a while to see if the timing were better. Fast forward to 2020, Trey saw I was staying with family in OC, and Trey persisted. I waited 1 whole month to decide to go out with him! Ultimately, I remembered what a gentleman he was, and his instagram reminded me of his good looks. We went on what we now affectionately call our "reunion date" at Crescent Beach, and I was quickly and completely smitten!!!!! I packed up my SF life, moved to OC, and we spent the rest of the summer together at Trey's spot in San Clemente. When it became clear Trey loved Theo as his own, I knew he wasn't going anywhere! It is only fitting that we make it official in the town we fell in love, San Clemente. We can't wait to get married surrounded by our favorite people! ~~~His: Laura and I met on a dating app in 2016. I wanted our first date to be extra special... so I took her to the diveyest bar I could find. After a few strong beers and witty banter (religion, politics, economics all in the same night) we mosied on over to Horse Feather to meet my, unbeknownst to me, "overly inebriated" roommates/best friends. Needless to say, Laura did not take the bait and we went on maybe one more date before SHE parted ways with an obsessed boy name Trey. Our friend Rishi likes to use the term "obsessed," but I prefer "persistent." I chased her for a while after that and in her words, not mine, the timing was not right... so I left it to destiny. Fast forward to 2020 when the world was falling apart, and I noticed a familiar set of blue eyes had popped up on my dating apps again. I immediately reached out to try and see her again (persistent, remember?). After a month of Laura deliberating internally, she agreed to see me on what we now call our "reunion date" at Crescent beach in Laguna; the rest is history. My boyish charm and devilish good looks finally won her over and our time spent together since has been bliss. I am now marrying the love of my life whom I have been *obsessed* with since the moment we met.
