Sep. 15, 1981: Travis is born in Saginaw, MI Jan. 17, 1983: Laura is born in Libertyville, IL 1981-2001: Travis and Laura grow up in Kalamazoo, MI & Fox Lake, IL, respectively Aug. 2002: Laura moves to Milwaukee, WI for college Near Miss #1, Aug. 2005: Travis & Ian’s band visits Milwaukee on tour, hangs out in Laura’s favorite neighborhood, and plays a show that Laura definitely would've attended had she not moved to London on a work visa five days prior Near Miss #2, July 2008: Travis’s old band is scheduled to travel from MI to play with Laura's band at a birthday party in Laura and Collin’s Milwaukee basement, but cancels. Three weeks later, Laura moves to Oakland, CA March 2012: Travis moves to Milwaukee 2012-2015: Laura visits Milwaukee frequently; Travis & Laura both attend Claire’s holiday parties, various shows, and Claire’s birthday Brewers tailgate April 2016: Travis moves into a spare room at Claire’s house May 2016: Laura takes a job in Milwaukee and moves into a different spare room in Claire’s house while apartment hunting. Travis kindly offers to park on the street so Laura can use the parking slab and gamely watches reality TV with Laura Halloween 2016: Travis gives Laura a flirty hip bump during a Weezer cover band and Laura realizes she has a crush on Travis Dec. 3, 2016: Laura pulls the ol’ “Oh my God, Travis, feel how cold my hands are!” move while both are riding in the back of Claire’s car. Travis falls for Laura’s smooth move and sees Claire & Dieter raise eyebrows in the rear view mirror. Turns out Travis was interested in Laura this whole time Dec. 2016-Oct. 2019: True love! Adventures! Fun with friends! Ups and downs! Sticking together! Long term commitment! Halloween 2019: Travis surprises Laura while wine tasting with friends at gorgeous Concannon Vineyard in the Bay Area, CA. Travis recruits Andrea to hide the ring in her purse, then tells Laura to “look over there”, pulls out the ring, and proposes! Much celebration ensues!
