Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We would like our wedding to be a formal event. The wedding party and close family members are wearing sage green and navy blue. Throw on your best suit or dress that’s not white and we’ll see you there!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly request that no children unless specifically invited to attend our wedding. We hope to see you enjoy our wedding as a date night!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive around 4:00 o'clock. Unless you are staying on the property, parking is located near the back of the winery. Shuttles are provided, but it is still good to arrive early so that you can make it in time for the ceremony!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are sticking to a very limited guest list to preserve our budget. We have only reserved a spot for those listed on the invitations sent to you. We hope you still can make it!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking by the restaurant in the front of the winery for those staying in cottages at the venue. Otherwise, parking is located in the back with shuttles available to transfer you to and from your vehicle.

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes, we would love to have everyone be in the moment! It makes for better pictures (and a less angry bride)! For those that could not attend, we have a designated person that will have their phone Facetiming. Please do not have your phones out during the ceremony. We promise to post pictures to social media as soon as we get them! As soon as the cocktail hour starts, please feel free to take all the photos you want.

Will the wedding be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The plan is both, weather permitting! We plan to have an outdoors ceremony, sheltered cocktail hour, and indoors reception!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, Cape Fear Winery has a large selection of liquor, beer, & wine to choose from. Be safe and have fun!

Are there going to be non-alcoholic beverages?

Answer

Yes, there will be iced tea, water, and coffee available if needed.

Where can we stay if we come in the Friday before the wedding?

Answer

There are a lot of hotels in the Leland, NC area near us. If you need assistance, please reach out to the bride or groom regarding hotels.
