T and his groomsmen, plus any of the chaps that want to come along are going to head to the distillery to discuss in detail the pros and cons of Welsh whiskey in comparison to Jameson . This is not a male only affair, Laura went once in the wooing stages and that's about all the whisky she'll consume in her lifetime EAST Turn off M4 at J32 onto the A470, sign-posted Merthyr Tydfil. Proceed for 20 miles. Take first exit onto the A465. After 5 miles, take 3rd exit onto the A4059 sign-posted Penderyn. WEST Turn off M4 at J43 onto the A465, signposted Merthyr Tydfil. Proceed for 17 miles. At roundabout take 1st exit onto the A4059 sign-posted Penderyn . NORTH From the A470 head towards Merthyr Tydfil. Take the right-hand turn approximately six miles prior to Merthyr Tydfil onto the A4059. After 5 miles, take 3rd exit onto the A4059 sign-posted Penderyn. This applies to each of the above: the distillery is two miles up the A4059 on the right-hand side of the village of Penderyn

Red Lion Dinner

For those not sozzled from whisky and/or starving from walking, we're having dinner on the Monday at the Red Lion in just down from the distillery. It's a beautiful, very old pub on the Brecon Beacons that does super food. This is a relaxed evening, fires and wine!
