Distances on the Strip are longer than they appear — the hotels are huge! Many locations on the Strip can be reached without going outside the entire time. Comfortable shoes are recommended for exploring. The desert climate is very dry, so stay hydrated. Evenings can cool down after sunset — a light jacket is a good idea. Uber and Lyft are widely available if you'd rather not walk.
