We met for the first time at Tap and Bottle! Stephen looked so handsome in his button down shirt and dark wash jeans while Laura was wearing her signature "all black" look. Stephen and Laura sat down at a huge table all to themselves. They started talking and didn't stop for over 2 hours! The conversation flowed so wonderfully, and we had so much in common and were laughing so much. Then in true Laura fashion, she abruptly ended the date, hugged Stephen goodbye and walked to her car to call her mom! Her mom asked how everything went, and Laura said that she thought Stephen was sweet and would definitely like to see him again! We met online like many people did and Stephen didn't have Laura's number, so she decided to give it to Stephen. Laura messaged Stephen on the app and then waited and waited and waited! Laura would later find out that Stephen was the absolute worst at texting! Finally after HOURS Stephen texted back and said he would LOVE to meet up again! From that moment on, we spent as much time together as we could and the rest is history! We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together!!

We were in Hawaii for his brother, Michael's wedding and the day after the wedding we decided to go for a drive around the island and just sit and watch the waves come in. We started driving, and we stopped at about three different places before Stephen finally found the perfect little spot. We found a little portion of the beach that was completely empty and sat down on the sand and watched the ocean. We started talking and then Stephen started shifting. Laura wasn't sure what he was doing, but when she looked over he was on his knee and pulled out the most beautiful ring! Laura said, YES, YES, YES! It was such a beautiful moment and we will cherish that memory forever.
