We met through work, Laura worked for a car lot and Shane was the owner of the repo company that Laura used, they became great friends from there, and life happened to bring them together romantically. And the rest is history.
The shenanigans began by Shane hijacking scheduled family photos that Laura had set up. Laura was thoughtful enough to arrange some pictures taking all of our daughters and had them all involved except for Arry that more than likely would have spilled the beans. Our daughters were on board with the surprise proposal, and the gift of a French Bulldog puppy now named Pepper. This was all a tremendous surprise to Laura. She had no idea. Laura had just taken in her ring to get re-sized a few weeks before the photo shoot and wasn’t too happy she didn’t have it back before the photo shoot. Shane had called the jeweler and asked them to please stall and tell Laura the resizing was delayed. When the ring came in, Shane had picked it up and took it to the photo shoot. During the family photos, the photographer hands Laura a blanket and in that blanket was Pepper. Laura cried, and it was love at first sight. After that, family photos continued. Towards the end of the session, when it time for just photos of Laura and Shane, Shane confessed that he had been lying about something and pulls out the engagement ring, gets down on one knee and proposes making Laura UGLY cry… AGAIN! So, family photos turned into the forever for both Laura and Shane.
