We're Getting Married!!!

Like a lot couples these days, we met online! We both happened to swipe right and after only a few days of chatting, we had our 1st date at Lindy's Landing and the rest is history!

On a beautiful Memorial Day weekend in 2020, we planned on attending a neighborhood birthday party in Lake Zurich at Laura's mother's house. Laura really wasn't in the mood for a party but Sean made her go anyways. When we got there we joined all of our friends and neighbors in the backyard and after a few hours of eating and talking, Sean brought Laura her birthday gift. After she opened it she was secretly disappointed that it wasn't an engagement ring (but she does love her fitbit!). Sean walked away and within a few seconds, placed a small bag on the table in front of Laura and said "oops, I forgot something" and inside the tiny bag was the engagement ring. Sean got down on one knee, in front of everyone, and asked Laura to marry him.
