Laura and Ryan both attended UNH in Durham, NH. They met at Sawyer Hall as neighbors, Laura a freshman and Ryan a sophomore. At that time it was just friendly nods hello in the hall or passing each other on the way to class. It wasn't until three years later the two reconnected on the night of a friend's 21st birthday at the classiest bar in town, Scorps, where Ryan was a bouncer. Something about the watered-down vodka sodas and stale beer sparked a new connection between the two of them. Soon after that night, Ryan asked Laura out on a date for sushi. The rest is history. Nearly a decade later, the two got engaged in Nashville, bought a home of their own and have even adopted a dog. Laura and Ryan are excited to tie the knot, and can not wait to celebrate with all their loved ones at the Beauport in Gloucester!
