What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. Mid-length to full length dresses are welcomed. Suit and tie or a tux is suggested.

What will the weather be like for this time of year?

Answer

Philadelphia averages between mid 70s and low 80s. Night time can be cooler with lows into the 60s. In case of rain, all areas, including walkways will be covered. Check the local forecast and website for updated weather information.

Where will the ceremony take place?

Answer

Our ceremony will be conveniently located at the Water Works. You will be directed to the location upon your arrival.

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?

Answer

The entirety of the wedding is open air. Each part will be covered. From the ceremony you will be guided into the cocktail area (The Engine House), followed by the reception area (The Mill House). The reception will be under a tent. Depending on weather the tent will be open on all sides, with access to a patio.

What should I do if I can’t make it ?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

How can I get to the venue? Will there be parking?

Answer

If you are a guest at the W or Element Hotels, a shuttle will be provided both before and after the wedding. Should you drive, valet parking will be available.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
