When should I arrive?

We recommend taking an afternoon flight on December 27th or 28th so you have plenty of time to settle in and enjoy the full wedding experience with us.

Where should I stay?

We recommend the following options for your stay: Hotel Posada del Hidalgo (December 28th–30th), where our wedding events will take place Hotel El Fuerte (if you’re arriving on the 27th and leaving after the 31st), a great option for your entire stay, including New Year’s

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is Formal / Black Tie Preferred. We kindly ask guests to wear elegant, darker tones such as black, charcoal, deep navy, forest green, or burgundy.

What is the “Torna Boda”?

Answer

The torna boda is our day-after celebration, a more relaxed and fun way to keep the festivities going. It’s a time to unwind, spend more time together, and enjoy great food, drinks, and music in a laid-back setting. Ours will take place on December 30th starting at 2PM. Attire is semi-formal, and we kindly ask everyone to wear vibrant, cheerful colors and don’t forget comfortable shoes 🤍

We will share more details closer to the date, but most events will be within close distance of the hotels.

How do I get to Los Mochis?

Answer

The easiest way is to fly from Tijuana (TIJ) to Los Mochis (LMM). We recommend using Cross Border Xpress (CBX) to cross directly into the Tijuana airport.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, if you’re planning to use CBX (Cross Border Xpress), a valid passport is required. If you don’t have a passport, you can still travel by driving into Tijuana and flying domestically within Mexico using a valid ID.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones so much 🤍 While our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, we are so excited to welcome children at our Torna Boda and celebrate with them there.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In El Fuerte, Sinaloa in late December, it’s usually: Daytime: around 75–85°F (24–29°C) ☀️ Nighttime: can drop to about 50–60°F (10–16°C) 🌙 So it’s not freezing, but it can definitely feel chilly at night, especially outdoors by the river. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl 🤍
