Where do we park for the ceremony?

Answer

We encourage you to use Lyft or Uber or to carpool to all events! There is a parking lot across the street from the park, below is a link to the map, you will park in the parking lot labeled "THIS PARKING LOT" on the SITE map, and signs will direct you to the ceremony. Where is the reception in relation to the ceremony?

Answer

It is 1.6 miles away, approximately a 7 minute drive.

Are kids allowed at the reception?

Answer

Unfortunately, the reception is an adults only events (18 and over). Kids are welcome (and encouraged!) at the ceremony!

Where do we park for the reception?

Answer

We encourage everyone to use Lyft or Uber or to carpool to all events! Street parking is free after 6pm but is limited, and there is a valet across the street you can utilize if you would like to that can range from $5 to $20 depending on any nearby events. There are also nearby lots you can pay to park in, I’ve been told to use Peak parking lot!

What should we wear?

Answer

Anything from Cocktail attire to semi formal! Suit jackets and ties are not required!

Should we bring gifts?

Answer

You do not need to get us anything, we are just so happy to be able to celebrate with you! For those of you who won’t take that and are going to get us something anyways…please considered donating to our honeymoon fund!

Will it be cold?

Answer

It’s Texas so who knows! The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception is both indoors and outdoors! So keep an eye on the weather and layer up! Both the welcome party and reception will have space heaters!

Is the ceremony wheelchair/scooter accessible?

Answer

Yes! There is a ramp you can use, please see our ushers upon arrival and they can direct you!

Will there be a lot of walking or standing at the ceremony?

Answer

Walking, yes, standing no! I will be sending out maps to guests the week prior! The parking lot is located across the street from the park so you will cross a small street and the ceremony will be at the end of a long walkway surrounded a fountain. There will be chairs for guests to utilize during the ceremony. Upon arrival, please see our ushers for any assistance!

Can we come early to enjoy the park and Museum?

Is the reception open bar?

Answer

The bar is open bar until we have reached our budget! We will announce when this happens, and you will be able to start your own tabs.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

Pizza, salad and charcuterie! Sweets will also be provided. There will be a few gluten free pizzas and vegan pizzas available!
