There is a block reserved at The Maven in downtown Denver. At the top of this page, click the "Things To Do & Hotel Block Info" header. Under that header is a clickable URL that will direct you to the hotel block website. https://reservations.themavenhotel.com/?adult=1&arrive=2025-09-18&chain=6052&child=0&config=meta¤cy=USD&depart=2025-09-20&group=TWRB284&hotel=76320&level=hotel&locale=en-US&productcurrency=USD&rooms=1 - You can easily get to The Maven by taking the A line from Denver Airport to Union Station. - The shuttle to/from Red Rocks Trading Post will be departing from and arriving back at this location. ALL attendees are encouraged to use the shuttle!
Please call or text Nate and/or Laura and we'd be happy to chat about good areas of town based on your needs. The beauty of The Maven is it can be accessed without a rental car via public transportation and is in a GREAT part of downtown with walking access to many restaurants, breweries, shops, and sporting arenas.
A LOT. If you are bored in Colorado, that is a choice! At the top of this page, click the "Things To Do & Hotel Block Info" header. Under that header is a clickable URL that has a list of restaurants, coffee shops, things to do, museums, hiking trails, etc.
Red Rocks Transportation Tips & Tricks: - Parking at Red Rocks Trading Post / Red Rocks Amphitheater will be limited, we highly recommend taking the free shuttle to / from the wedding. The shuttle will leaving promptly at 3:30 PM from The Maven Hotel (ADDRESS). - If you choose to drive, please enter Red Rocks through Entrance 2 and park at Lower South lot 1 or Lower South lot 2. - If you choose to arrive via rideshare, you will likely be dropped off very close to The Trading Post. HOWEVER, the rideshare departure point is located ~1 mile down the hill at the Jurassic Lot.
Colorado is a strange place for weather! It likely will be very warm and sunny the day of the wedding and will cool down significantly at night. We recommend layers, such as a light jacket for the night of the wedding.
Please do not contact the bride, groom, or their nuclear family members (siblings & parents). Figure it out :)
Yes! Laura has celiac, so everything will be gluten free.
Noooooo; we will have an open bar :)
If you have an infant <1 year of age, please reach out to us as we are happy to accommodate. Unfortunately, due to restrictions of the venue and the safety of the venue, children are not invited to celebrate.
Nope! We are not in need of any particular items or gifts. Our home is small and we lived as single people in our own homes for many years prior to joining forces. The biggest gift you can give us is your time, your enthusiasm & commitment to having a great time, and well wishes as we start this next chapter! P.S. - I, Laura, could often not afford to both attend a wedding and give a gift (monetary or otherwise) for many, many years. Please know that joining us at the wedding is enough and I would never want anyone to be stretched financially out of some perceived obligation. My love language is quality time, so come spend some with us <3
