We met in 2016 at Boston Common during a Deaf grassroots protest. What began as a shared moment of advocacy quickly turned into something more—we felt an instant spark. From that very day, we started seeing each other, and by July, we officially became girlfriend and boyfriend. Over the years, we’ve grown together by discovering who we are and what we want out of life. Through every high and low, we’ve learned how to love each other in our own unique ways—and we’ve never stopped choosing each other. Ready to take the next step, Mike proposed to Laura on August 25, 2025. Life surprised us in the most beautiful way shortly after, and on October 31, 2025, we welcomed our baby girl into the world. Now, as partners and parents, we’re excited and ready to begin this next chapter together.
