We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting a beach formal dress code for the evening. Think floor-length or midi dresses and suits or tuxedos for men. We recommend leaning into the beach setting with summer or vibrant colors.
To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably within the venue, we ask that only invited guests attend our wedding festivities. You'll find the details about your party size, including whether it includes a plus one, on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding!
We love your little ones! However, we decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our precious flower girls. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!
We have reserved a hotel room block at Springhill Suites in Milford, CT (approximately 8 minutes from Tyde). We encourage our guests who are traveling from further away or guests who want to keep the party going to book a room within our room block. Please see the travel tab for further information.
Yes! We will have a shuttle running from the SpringHill Suites to Tyde and back at the end of the night. We encourage guests staying at the hotel to take advantage of the shuttle so you can relax and enjoy the evening without worrying about your car!
The ceremony will begin punctually at 6 O'clock in the evening. We recommend that guests arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the official ceremony start time so you can get settled, enjoy a glass of champagne, and some music before the ceremony begins. Traffic headed toward Milford on a Friday can be tricky; please plan accordingly.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors. Both the cocktail hour and reception will mostly be indoors; however, the cocktail hour and reception areas also include beautiful outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy, as long as the weather cooperates.
Yes! Tyde has plenty of parking available in their lot for guests.
Yes! The reception ends at 11:30 PM, but the celebration doesn't stop there. Join us for an after-party at the SpringHill Suites lobby bar.
