Waxahachie

Waxahachie, TX

A cute historic downtown area with coffee shops, local restaurants, boutiques, and pretty architecture. Ellis County Courthouse One of the prettiest historic courthouses in Texas and a sweet spot to walk around if you’re already downtown. The Dove’s Nest A charming lunch spot, tea room, and shop in downtown Waxahachie.

Dallas

Dallas, TX

Bishop Arts District One of our favorite areas for coffee, restaurants, cute shops, and walking around. Klyde Warren Park A fun park in the middle of the city, close to museums, restaurants, and Uptown. Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden A beautiful garden to visit if you have extra time, especially if the weather is nice. Lower Greenville A great area for dinner, drinks, and casual exploring. Knox/Henderson A cute area for shopping, coffee, and restaurants. Highland Park Village A pretty, classic Dallas spot for shopping, coffee, and walking around. The Katy Trail A nice walking trail with nearby restaurants and coffee spots. Reunion Tower A classic Dallas view if you want to see the city from above.

Fort Worth

Fort Worth, TX

Fort Worth Stockyards A very Texas experience with shops, restaurants, live music, and the cattle drive. Sundance Square A nice downtown area with restaurants, shopping, and places to walk around. Fort Worth Botanic Garden A beautiful garden option if you want something slower and scenic. The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth A pretty museum with a great restaurant and a peaceful setting. Clearfork A newer area with shopping, restaurants, coffee, and walking paths.
