January 2019, Laura was court ordered to go to a drug treatment facility in Wichita, Kansas. Laurie was already a client there when Laura decided to show up. It all started when Laurie fibbed to Laura. And for a while the fib was believed, until Laura’s intuition stepped in. We grew our friendship in the walls of that facility so well that even if anything at all was off with either one of us- the other instantly knew. Laura had got a job for a while during their time in there. Which meant she left the facility during the evenings. Once Laurie got word of her scheduled shift nights it started by saving back dinner trays. When Laura got her first paycheck, she then fibbed to Laurie. Got her to agree to a “date” in a sense. We eventually graduated the program, and moved to an Oxford house. Which was in March of 2019. A week if that went by, we made it semi official. As we were denying the rules of the house: no relationship within the house. Putting us as a 3/25 anniversary!

March 25 is our anniversary date and we are keeping the intention to have the same anniversary date as when we first got together.
