U.S. Space & Rocket Center
Do you have a rocket in your pocket or are you just excited to see us? Huntsville is the rocket city for a reason and one place we (Joseph) recommends is the U.S Space and Rocket Center.
Rainbow Mountain Nature Preserve
We went here on our very first "unofficial date", as Joseph claims. We watched the sunrise together on this very beautiful nature trail. It has a wonderful view into the city of Huntsville, and an even prettier view towards the cities of Decatur and Athens to the west. If you're in the mood for walking and hiking, (or standing on the very rocks where Jospeh proposed!), we very much recommend this special spot!
Huntsville Botanical Garden
This garden is an amazing place to relax for an afternoon stroll to see how breathtaking nature truly is. We both recommend stopping by if you have some free time to scroll through the gardens.
Old Mexico Cantina
The best Mexican food in Madison. This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to. We actually had one of our first dates here, so if you have the time you should definitely go. It's a Shrontz favorite. Their margaritas are fantastic! Hours ------- Sat, Mon–Thur: 11am–9pm Fri: 11am–10pm Sunday: Closed
Luigi's Italian Grill
Another great restaurant to eat in this area! Luigi's Italian Grill is a Hodgson favorite and a must eat here in Madison.
