Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Nope! Come as you are, wear what you want. Both the ceremony and reception are outside, so keep in mind to dress for the weather.

Is there a rain date?

Answer

No. If it rains, we will just get a little wet. If the weather is calling for rain for the day, we encourage the use of umbrellas for the service. The reception venue is covered by pavilions, so we should be protected.

Where is the ceremony? Reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Breezyview Gazeebo, 770 Breezyview Dr, Columbia, PA 17512. The reception at East Donegal Dayuse Area (used to be Chickies Dayuse Area), 1467 Long Ln, Columbia, PA 17512.

Will the ceremony be held outside or inside?

Answer

Outside! The view overlooking the river is beautiful.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Wedding photography for the bridal party will happen directly after the ceremony. Guests are encouraged to head over to Chickies for the reception. As soon as the photos are finished, Laura and Joe will join in the fun! Food and drinks will be provided, along with dancing and a good time!

What should I do if I can't come?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will start at 2pm. We recommend that you arrive around 1:30pm to find a seat and get settled. Bottled water will be available for convenience in case of hot weather.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are more than welcome! Please keep in mind that we are on a budget -- make sure to include on your RSVP if your littles are coming along.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is RSVP-only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on the RSVP.

When is the RSVP deadline? How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than May 15, 2022. There is a separate page on the website for responding to the invite -- simply go to the RSVP page and type your name in. From there, you can select whether you will or will not be attending. If you have children or a guest coming with you, you can include them in your party. Please make sure to RSVP for both the ceremony and the reception so we have an accurate headcount. Also remember to submit your song request so we can include it in our celebrations!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Yes! Food and drink well be available at our I Do BBQ! Casual, delicious food perfect for outdoor fun -- pork BBQ, chicken, mac and cheese, and much more!

Where are you registered?

Answer

In lieu of a registry, we are asking for monetary gifts to help with our tropical honeymoon. There are a few funds set up on the website -- for the trip a well as activities to do in Jamaica -- but we will also have a card box at the reception 😊

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding in social media?

Answer

Of course! The only request is that you use our wedding hashtag (#LetsDoThisBritchers) so we can see all your pictures!
