Bring your own Dessert Competition 🎂

**Calling all bakers!** If you would like to enter the bring your own dessert competition then it's easy! Just bring your favourite pudding to the wedding - there'll be a table set up for your arrival. Adjudication will be undertaken by the best man and the tastiest dessert will be crowned the winner! The prize will be delicious we promise (: (please kindly avoid nuts as our nephew has a nut allergy)

We already have our ideal home, With a kettle, a toaster, a bed and a stove. Your presence is more than enough But if a gift you must yield, Our passion in life lies further afield. May we ask for some pennies, so off we can sail And see more of the world, So we can tell you more tales ✈️

Allergies

Please let us know if you have any! All food will be fully nut free due to one of the littlest members of the family having a nut allergy. There will be gluten free food served also, as 5 of our guests can't eat gluten. (:

Devon is definitely not quite yet in the age of Uber. As the venue is in the countryside we would suggest booking your transport in advance. The nearest town to the venue is Cullompton, which has a bus service. The nearest train station to the venue is Tiverton Parkway. The nearest airport is Exeter Airport, but Bristol Airport has more services and prices. We would suggest the National Express bus from Bristol (or any other UK airport) to Exeter if you are flying here and we can instruct you from there.

The classic smart casual - boys don't feel that ties are required by any means :) If the weather is nice, we will be getting married in an orchard so stilettos may sink in the ground!

Confetti

The venue has asked for petal confetti only, no paper, foil or rice. We will be supplying confetti but if you want to bring your own, please only bring petal/floral confetti, thank you <3

RSVP

There is a separate RSVP tab on the website - if you type your (or your family's) name in then you can say if you are attending there! If you would prefer, please kindly drop Laura a line either via messenger or whatsapp if you can't come (:( )

On arrival

Answer

As people begin to arrive, you can enjoy a chat with your pals and family in the courtyard and Linhay, and the bar will be open (woo!).

Drinks - cards are accepted

Answer

Please bring your own money for the bar (cards are accepted but cash may be a good back up as the venue is rural). For drink prices think 'village local' - super reasonable with a classic selection of beverages. We will be supplying some soft drinks throughout the day.

Throughout the day we will be serving canapes/nibbles, a relaxed sit down lunch and some evening food. Our wonderful caterer will hopefully be one to remember! As we request that you arrive at 12.30, it's probably a plan to have a big brekkie before you arrive so you don't get too hungry before the snacks arrive 🍲
