Jamaica Pavillion - arriving at the venue

We'll be getting married at Jamaica Pavilion on Parc Jean‑Drapeau. The pavilion is located inside the Formula 1 race track, so access is a little different from a typical Montreal venue. There will be reserved parking in the P5 parkade on Île Notre‑Dame. Follow the marked path toward the Jamaica Pavilion - attendants and signage will guide you. You can drive a few laps around the F1 track if you're into that sort of thing. The pavilion is located beside a beautiful garden and the Mother Nature floral installation, a cool spot for photos and a peaceful place to explore before the celebration begins. Jamaica Pavilion is also accessible via the Metro - yellow line from Berri-UQAM to Jean-Drapeau. It's a beautiful and scenic ~20 minute walk from the metro station to our venue. Please allow a bit of extra travel time to navigate the island and enjoy the scenery.

Staying in Montreal

Montreal is rich in options for places to stay, from boutique hotels to well known hotel brands and short term rentals. For this reason, we've chosen not to book a hotel block, but here is some information that we hope is helpful when choosing where to stay. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions. Jean Drapeau is made up of two islands: Île Notre Dame (where our venue is located) and Sainte-Hélène. The bridge that connects Île Notre Dame to Montreal brings you right into Griffintown, with the Old Port and Downtown within minutes. The other bridge that connects to Jean Drapeau is the iconic Jacques-Cartier Bridge and this connects to other side of the Old Port as well as Plateau Mont-Royal. All of these neighborhoods have their own charm and all of them except Griffintown, is accessible by Metro.

Flight

Montreal Trudeau International Airport - YUL

Give yourself lots of time to get to the airport for your flight home as there’s ongoing construction and increased wait times. For the same reason, we recommend getting a ride directly from the airport rather than asking someone to pick you up. Taxi and uber are reliable options, there’s also an airport shuttle (747) to Lionel-Groulx metro station.
