We met on a dating app, which we were both skeptical of. I told Jesse before we met in person that if this went anywhere I didn’t want to tell anyone we met on a dating app. Jesse’s response was that we aren’t meeting on an app, we are meeting in person, at a restaurant. That evening at the restaurant we got lost in conversation and have been getting lost in conversation every day and evening since. We both knew within a couple of weeks that we wanted to do life together. In December 2019, Jesse had a conference to go to in Nice, France and we decided to make a vacation of it traveling by train from the south of France up to Paris, eventually. One night after dinner in the beautiful town of Avignon, Jesse took me on a walk to revisit the Palace of the Pope that we had toured earlier that day. We climbed the stairs and he dropped to one knee and of course, I said yes! We would love to celebrate with all of our family and friends but because of the present health crisis we have decided to have a very small wedding with just immediate family. We hope to see you all soon in one way or another and love you all!
