Throughout the years of going to many shows, Jared being a musician, and hanging out with a variety of the same people, Laura and Jared finally met in the Spring of 2017. From there on out, their Springs, Summers, Falls, and Winters began to get much brighter.

In December of 2021, Laura and Jared went on a trip to Ocean City, Maryland with Laura's mother and step-father. Jared knowing Laura needing to stick her toes in the sand at least one time (no matter the weather), he suggested a brisk walk on the beach. As Laura was changing into her "beach walking" clothes, Jared had to run to his car to get something. Laura was too excited about being at the beach to notice Jared had made his way over to his car and back before the walk, as soon as they left the hotel and were outside. With Laura ready and excited to dip her toes in the (cold) water, Jared held her hand and they made their way to the shoreline. As they walked and made their way through the windy and cold beach, Jared nervously expressed his love to Laura. Since Laura already knows how much she is loved by Jared, she did not think anything of it and she did not even notice that he had dropped to one knee in the sand. Laura turned around and instantly broke out into uncontrollable, happy tears. He asked her to spend the rest of her life with him and if she would be his wife. She immediately exclaimed "yes!". With all the sobbing and wind, Laura and Jared shared one of the most special moments of their lives and nothing else mattered except each other, in that moment. After they made their way back to the boardwalk, Laura told everyone that walked by, "I just got engaged!" and they called their friends and family to break the exciting news right away. They found their lobster🦞

Jared’s daughter, Hailey Cecilia, plays a huge role in this commencement. Laura is so excited to have the blessings of both Jared and Hailey to welcome her into their family. This wedding is not just Laura and Jared tying the knot but Laura and Hailey as well. The three will perform a special bonding moment at the wedding for all of their family and friends to witness.
