The year was 2015 and we were standing outside the Marquee Theatre waiting for the New Found Glory VIP to start. We struck up a conversation to pass the time. After the VIP experience, New Found Glory was doing an acoustic performance across town. Because we had time to kill before the show and because NFG is our favorite band, we both left separately to go to the record store. Once at the record store, we recognized each other again and made small talk in between songs. Laura exchanged information with Jared's best friend when the acoustic performance ended and we went on our way. We ended up running into each other at shows over the next two years and would make small talk. We were show friends. Fast forward to 2017 and Jared finds Laura's instagram and posts a comment talking about ice cream. They exchanged info and spent the next year messaging each other daily and continually making and canceling plans to hang out. Finally we made plans to get ice cream (fitting, we know), and end up hanging out until almost 5am. The rest is history...
