Our Story
The date is June 14, 2022. Our first date. The service was slow, but we didn't mind- it lasted 3 hours and probably could have lasted 3 hours more. The tacos and rum didn't hurt, either.
Laura was about to turn 30 a mere four days later, and ambitiously invited Jake to her birthday party, extended family and all. Much to her surprise, he politely declined, but that didn't stop them from planning that second date. And third.
And soon after, they lost count.
We did eventually meet each other's families and friends (in a more appropriate time frame), and it was well worth the wait. We are so incredibly grateful for all of you and the warmth, kindness and love you have shown throughout our story.
We can't wait to have you by our sides as we start this next chapter.
Here's to a lifetime of 3-hour long dates and lots and lots of tacos and rum.
