Question

Resort and Restaurant Information

Answer

OVERVIEW: Valentin Imperial is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort on Mexico’s Riviera Maya. Roundtrip airport transportation from Cancun International Airport (CUN), about 25 minutes away, can be added to your reservation. The resort features hacienda-style suites with private balconies, Wi-Fi, U.S. outlets, and minibars. Rooms are set throughout tropical grounds with views of gardens, pools, or the ocean. FOOD & DRINK: All food and drinks are included. Le Marché and Mar y Tierre offer breakfast and lunch service. Also for lunch, there is pool and beachside service. Cafe Sisal is open daily for coffee and pastries. Dinner is offered at all 7 restaurants, and reservations are only required for hibachi. Multiple bars are located throughout the property. AMMENITIES: There are two main pools, one lively and one more relaxed. Multiple activities are offered daily. Guests also have access to a fitness center and free equipment for tennis, basketball, and pickleball. Spa services, including massages and treatments, are available for purchase. GOLF: While there is no on-site golf course, several nearby courses are within 10 to 20 minutes. If you contact the Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf Club (10 mins) directly you can arrange for transportation and club rental. El Camaleon Mayakoba Golf (20 mins) is more expensive and offers the same deal. Make sure to tell them you are staying at Valentin. For snorkeling and water activities, we recommend booking through Barrakuda Dive Center near the main pool rather than the booking area near the main lobby. Concierge service is offered at each building group, and golf carts are available for transportation around the resort.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will be outside, dependent on weather. Any changes to the event locations will be communicated directly to all guests.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invite for your +1!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the wedding festivities as Valentin Imperial is an adults only resort (18+). However, we recognize that some of you may need to travel with your kids. If this is your case, please reach out to the bride or groom directly to discuss options, we'd be happy to help.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

November in Mexico is pretty much perfect. Warm, sunny days (around the mid-80s) and comfortable evenings with just a light breeze. There might be a quick tropical shower, but it usually passes as fast as it comes. Bring your sunscreen!
