What should I wear?

Answer

Dressy casual! It will be a warm Florida day and we will be dancing at the reception. Shorts are acceptable.

Where can I find your gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our special day is the best present we could ask for. No gifts please.

How far are the venues from the hotel and each other?

Answer

The Rose Plantation is 22 minutes from Hotel Eastport. It is a 19-minute drive from the ceremony to the reception.

Question

What is there to do during the time between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Thank you for your patience as we take photos and set up the reception site after the ceremony. Please enjoy the Rose Plantation property until 3 pm. Okahumpka recreation center is on a lake and has a beautiful boardwalk to stroll and a restaurant called Harry and the Natives is on the same property as the Okahumpka Recreation Center. They have a bar (indoor and out). We are also able to get you a pass to hang out in the recreation center to play video games, darts or table shuffleboard. Please reach out to Gary or Laura and we can get a pass for you.

Which airport should I use?

Answer

MCO: Orlando International airport is about 55 minutes from us SFB: Sanford airport is 1 hr 10 minutes from us

Question

Will there be alcoholic beverages available at the reception?

Answer

There will be a champagne toast at the wedding venue. At the reception, alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the bar at Harry and the Natives next to the recreation center and can be brought into the reception for your individual consumption. We are unable to provide alcohol as it is a stipulation for use of the reception venue.
