This is Evan and Laura's favorite hiking trail in Sedona! A 3.6-mile out and back that links Bell Rock Vista Trailhead to the Little Horse Trailhead, Bell Rock Loop Trail offers direct access to the Bell Rock formation and its stunning views of the surrounding Red Rock Country.
Another favorite, Devil's Bridge is a steep but short hike. 4.2 mile out and back trail that features beautiful wild flowers. About 3/4 of a mile from the parking area the trail will come to a fork and you will go left. Here you'll end up at the base of the bridge. You will then continue up a natural rock staircase from which there are beautiful views. You will reach another level of stairs which will take you up to the bridge.
The term Vortex in Sedona refers to a place where the earth energy swirls and draws to it’s center everything that surrounds it like a tornado. At these magical sites, trees often exhibit this swirling or twisting of their trunks due the powerful vortex energy at the core of a Sedona Vortex. Airport Mesa Vortex is one of the most visited Sedona vortex sites because of its proximity to the center of town. Plus it is very accessible. To get to the top it does involve some vertical hiking and it is not for everyone, but the views from the top are stupendous in all directions.
