I was 16 and Ethan was 18 when we met. We’d known of each other through mutual friends for about a year but didn’t actually meet until one random night at a friend’s house. The full story is kind of a lot (if you know, you know), but that night changed everything for us. Ethan stayed by my side the entire night, just making sure I was okay—and that’s when I knew he was the one. For him, it was the same. He told me later, “You were like no one I’d ever met before. I knew I wanted to be with you.” Yeah, it’s cheesy... but honestly, that’s just us. Our love has always been totally unconditional, passionate, goofy. Obviously, love isn’t the same as they show in movies, but I’d say we are pretty darn close. We challenge each other, push each other to grow every day. Since that night, we’ve been pretty much inseparable—and now, seven years later, we’re starting a whole new chapter. I don’t even think our love needs much explaining. If you’ve been around us, you’ve seen it. You’ve felt it. It’s just there.
