The city park has a great playground for littles, one of the covered bridges, and if you're looking for a hike there is a nice trail to trek up to Clark's Tower or you can take a short drive up there as well.

There are six different covered bridges across Madison County. You can find one in the local city park, Roseman Covered Bridge (from the movie) is just a few miles from Pammel Park, and Cedar Bridge is just northeast of town a couple miles.
