Laura and Eric first met in the summer of 2011 during a theatre internship that would shape the course of their lives. He was the steady presence behind the scenes, building sets with precision and focus. She was the creative force in the costume shop, bringing characters to life with fabric and thread. What started as a shared passion for storytelling gradually became their own. Their connection continued long after the summer ended. Boston became home, with each new apartment and neighborhood marking another chapter in their journey. These days, they’ve settled in Quincy, MA, where their home is cozy, the tools and sewing machine still get good use, and the props mostly involve cat toys. Their family also includes two beloved cats: Jack, wise and composed, who holds a special place in their hearts, and Thor, the fluffball of chaos and comic relief, still very much the household gremlin. After nearly 14 years together, through changes big and small, Laura and Eric are ready for what’s next. Because when you’ve grown up side by side, through all of life’s seasons, you know when the time is right.
