Jen and Laura go all the way back to August 1996 at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. Laura was a student advisor assigned to help first year students move into Main Hall on South Campus. Jen showed up fresh from McAdoo in Da Skook, clad in a fab rainbow shirt. Not long thereafter the two met again in the Alto II section of the choir, where their bond was forever cemented. The years have been full of unexpected dorm room drop-ins, stupid boys, concerts from Sarah and Tori and Indigo Girls to classical music to Boyz II Men, taking on entirely too much student loan debt for various educational pursuits, late night drive-bys complete with McDonald’s or Taco “Hell” drive thrus, sitting through 16 hours of opera so they could conquer Wagner’s The Ring Cycle, and, of course, ‘Festing. After all these years, they still sing together with the Allentown Symphony from time to time, where music is accompanied by an array of topics from careers to love to the meaning of existence. These sisters from other misters look forward to 30 years of being besties in 2026! Girl’s trip!!

Picture it: the mid-90's, the hallowed halls of Hamilton High West...a cafeteria table littered with unfinished homework, teen angst, and aerodynamic green-beans. Here, a chance meeting of two young lads talking about sports, music, and wrestling would be the inception of a life-long friendship. The two bro-chachos have lived through late nights, diner fights, Y2K, Y2J, 9/11, Covid-19, and, miserably, the 76ers. When considering the qualities of a best-man, Norbert checks all the boxes: loyal, honest, supportive, moderately funny, and pretty good at games. What a swell guy! Derek can rest assured knowing he has Norb there to stand up for him on such a special occasion.
